CinemaBlend Games, by Steve West, 2007-12-26:
The year is at a close, which means the Blend Games staff will gather this weekend to drink cheap whiskey and discuss gaming in 2007. At some point a list of Blend's favorite games for the year will come out of the ordeal, but before they get to that it's time to look forward. After all, it was nice playing Crackdown but it's now time to get complacent with our gaming. There's a brand new stack of titles just itching to be played. Hopefully none of them have any debilitating diseases that will require daily cream application.
First up is the Xbox 360, a system that has been all too quiet on its future. Peter Moore set the stage for Fall 2007 at E3 when he emphasized Microsoft's focus on the immediate future. But now gamers are glancing around and wondering what the hell could follow such a stellar year for the system. Below you'll find the games Blend Games is most looking forward to on the big white console. If you were wondering, the list doesn't assuage Blend Games' worry that Microsoft's first party lineup is crumbling.
VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."
3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them
2.
Dmc.
4.
5.

God DMC2 was an awful game.
And in case this isn't obvious it goes worst to best
Order changes depending on your focus. I tend to focus on gameplay/fun factor, so...
5, 3, 1, 4, 2.
I really didn't like 4 but commend Dante's weapon diversity. The retreading of old ground was pretty unacceptable to me.
But even then... Still more enjoyable than 2 for me
Resident Evil 5 launched 15 years ago today - and it continues to stand as a stepping stone from the good to the bad.
One of my favourites because of the co-op. Then Resi 6 arrived and the series nosedived further.
I enjoyed the game co-oping with a friend I know the game in solo the AI can be an idiot but RE5 is way better then RE6. I played RE6 with a friend if it wasn't cheap when I got I would have avoided RE6.
5 was excellent, still play Mercs with my brother.
I would love a fully remastered RE:5, with some added, reworked content. The DLC for 5 was also excellent.
6 was awful.
I never understood why the game was misunderstood. It was a fantastic game at launch and is still fun today to play. It’s as action packed as Resident Evil 4 was, yet that’s regarded a masterpiece 🤷♂️
it was "misunderstood" because they introduced co-op into the franchise at a time when people loved to have fake rage about co-op. like, you could play the game as a solo experience, but people chose to have their bandwagon rage because it was cool at the time lol
Two Devil May Cry games have been delisted on Steam. As shared on X, formerly Twitter, by Wario64, Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition and Devil May Cry 4 are no longer available to purchase.
Bless the adorably all digital future! When it comes to PC games its not as big of an issue because there should always be another way to access single player games, but still, I hate to see anything get delisted.
Well, DMC4 special edition has a lot of issues to run from Steam.
I have to get a modded executable to even be able to run the game on Windows 10.
Not sure if it is because the game runs in DirectX10 or what, but it sucks they have not even tried to fix it.
only 5 games for 08 sad sad sad
lets see what the xbots say
Of the 5 games, they list TWO multiplatform games, while completely ignoring Fable 2, Alan Wake, Fallout 3 (which will be FAR bigger for 360/PC than for PS3), and possibly Halo Wars, Gears 2, and Project Offset (which I believe will be a huge announcement for MS next year, as a first-party exclusive as publisher) .
thats it .. they should have put that alan wake game on
resident evil only coming out in jan 09 capcom said
does anybody know if re5 will have a new camera view or the same 1 as re4
