I think I have the most unpopular GoTY list ever, but I have no control on what I find fun.

Also, I think this guy is a 360 only gamer every game he listed is on 360 and he didn't list any PS3/Wii/PC exclusives.

That is how it should be, you list the games you have the most fun with. For example, I would of easily given The 3rd Birthday some credit if I ever did a GOTY thread for last year. That was one of the most fun games I played as I was really able to get into it.

It's an interesting list and at the end of the day everyone is entitled to their own.

However it's interesting that with hindsight and sequels to those previous games how bad they are now.

Something like Mass Effect 1 at the time was amazing but now I wouldn't put myself through the pain of playing it now.

Also I prefer the way he's done the list. Instead of just picking one for each year and picking a selection. I think more people should do that in their end of year awards because people will never necessarily agree with the choice so what better way then to supply them with a few 'must buy' games :)

Exactly! To each their own, and this is an opinion article.

I liked his list and found it to be very well done. Even if it's from the point of view of an Xbox 360 gamer only. It will make other 360 only owners very happy.
