Gamestrend.de has word that the rumors that Axel Springer is trying to sell Gamigo Games, the company which is responsible for games like Jagged Alliance Online or Fiesta Online, are true. Axel Springer bought the company in 2009 and now wants to sell it for about 90 to 100 million dollar. Gamestrend reports that the Otherland MMO is the reason for this since Gamigo was not able to get new investors on board.
After a short partnership with Gamigo, Fractured Online developer Dynamight Studios has decided to part ways and operate the MMORPG itself. The reasoning for this ties into issues that forced the game into closed development last year.
