Naruto Generations Sells 65,758 Copies in First Week at Retailers (Japan)

Sales figures for week 1 have been revealed.

Awww, that's all? Hopefully it does better over here in America. I love CC2's Naruto games, they're the best. Surely numbers will be better when Storm 3 comes around though, whenever that may be. It'll probably end around the end of the Ninja War, (Again, whenever that may be.)

Generations is kind of an in-between title, since it's going to take a bit for the Manga to progress to a point where they can make a 3rd game out of the storyline. So, I can see sales not doing as well as another numbered entry.

65K is the most ever but they could have done better. Namco bandai screwed themselves over because of the one piece game. thats more popular then naruto there

they should have released Generations in the USA first and then released it in japan last on like march 30th

Exactly like Namco releasing Naruto and Tales of Graces F on SAME DAY.

I swear their marketing team is a bunch of hamsters or something.

Yeah, that would definitely have been a better strategy with the way One Piece is all the rage right now in Japan lol!

I thought Storm 2 sold a crap ton? I didn't really do research to back that thought up, but I assumed it did well since it got tons of great ratings and was a fantastic game in its own right (anime based or not).

I want to get Naruto Generations DAY ONE but that won't happen because Tales of Graces F will be releasing on the same day.
