Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2 Review | Cheatcc

Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2 is a game that tries really hard. It wants to be one of those old-school-feeling JRPGs that fans appreciate for both the nostalgic take on the franchise and for its take on current events.

"but as the JRPG genre has been a bit barren lately"

I let this one slide

Then he said " I won't pretend that I played the first game in the series
"

Ok, now I can ignore the review

The game is getting mostly 7-10

the first one wasn't all that bad, the problem with it was that you had to be pretty into anime stuff to be able to enjoy it and I think it's gonna be the same with the sequel. Weaboos will rate it good while normal people that doesn't care about anime will trash it.

Knight_Cid4451d ago

that isnt true at all. Most non japanese sites are rating it very high.

And dont use the term weaboo, its really insulting.

So people who like Japanese games aren't normal...? Right...

Still getting this, the reviews have mostly been positive, and say what you want about the first game, the original idea and good satire made it worth it.

the first one had pacing issues and slowdown issues

Those seems resolved so i'm gonna enjoy it

A concise history of Hyperdimension Neptunia

Michibiku's Jenni Lada writes, "Hyperdimension Neptunia is huge. It’s a massive series that covers tons of games, all of which are sort of connected? Though also not really, because quite a few are spin-offs and non-canon. It’s a lot to take in, to be sure. With Megadimension Neptunia VII on the horizon, we here at Michibiku felt like we should offer an overview of the main series’ installments."
