Brian Fargo has been talking about the past and future of the Wasteland sequel that he hopes to fund through a Kickstarter campaign, and as many suspected he hasn’t suddenly decided to put forward the idea because his eyes sprang out of his head and turned into dollar signs after seeing this action. Nothing of the sort.
Post-Apocalyptic worlds are a staple of the gaming industry. What better way to throw the player into a survival atmosphere than to take away all of the comforts of modern society and throw in roving bands of bandits, zombies, or other monsters for them to contend with? Wasteland 3 will be a party-based roleplaying game with an emphasis on deep reactivity, replayability, and strategic combat. It will be playable in single player and synchronous/asynchronous multiplayer, and released on Windows, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
I'm not sure about Kickstarters I've read good things and I've read bad things. I know that they are their to help bring a gamers game to life but I don't know.
