Pokemon Black & White 2 is a colossal disappointment

MMGN: Nintendo, what have you become. Pokemon Black and White Version TWWOOOOO! I thought you were better than that. And a DS game? Get real. This is 2012 where the 3DS reigns supreme. You might as well grow a ponytail and strut around in a full denim body suit.

Alright, there's nothing wrong with changing things up... Pokemon has done the same thing over and over and over. A 2 might just change things a little, which I'm all for. There's also nothing wrong with ponytails dammit! Though it being for DS... Yeah, that's a real big screw up for them. :\

Well its safe to say that no one ever asked for a Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 but lets see if they deliver on the first true sequels to a Pokemon game

I waited for Pokemon Grey...the third and final game of this gens Pokemon, a game where both features from Black and White are included with new and improved features making a full solid packed pokemon title for the ones who have waited.

INSTEAD...

We get find out Pokemon Grey has been spilt into two parts which means there isn't any final version, content will be spilt between the two games to make them differen't from one another and they've cleverly used the term "sequel" so Nintendos/Game Freaks white knights will defend them and use the "Yeah but it's a sequel EVERYTHING will be new" even though it's basicaly Pokemon Grey at heart with a few added elements to make it seem like a sequel.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were a pokemon grey after these again. I'm starting to think they are just milking all they can out of the franchise. Like making 2 different versions in the game and not include them in one, and having only 1 save at each game making you buy a new game if you don't want to delete your old save for a new one.

Stop crying. How idiotic do you people sound. You'd rather have Grey version, a remix of a White and Black with little change, than a sequel to the Pokemon White/Black, which will not only continue the brilliant story, but if suspicions are correct, will incorporate Houen (look at the logo's).

You complaints have no logic at all. Black and White 2 is a much better proposition than Pokemon Grey which would have only been a rehash. This here, is MUCH less of a cash in.

Not to mention, Pokemon will come to 3DS. Game Freak are working on a 3D engine for christs sake. Give it time. Generation V only started last year in the West. People just love to complain.

Can't wait for the June release. Will uphold my tradition since Diamond/Pearl of importing each major Pokemon release from Japan on day one.

Plus, this is nothing new. Blue, Red and the "sequel" Yellow were in GB. Gold, Silver and Crystal in GBC. Ruby Sapphire and Emerald in GBA. All third versions of the game were in the same portable console, so what's new here? Stop crying for nothing, because that's exactly what we know about it: Nothing. It looks like suddenly everyone hate sequels.

hahahah I was thinking the same thing. What will they do this time? On past games, there was another region, another 10 years old trainer starting his/her journey, but, if this is a sequel... we should be able to transfer our B/W team. Maybe they're planning on expand the level top to 200, and make all the first trainers lvl. 80 or something.

But we all know this wont happen. They sould -at least- bring back the complete touch menu from SS/HG; "press x to open the menu" and "press b to run" makes me feel like playing on a GBA. And I rarely use the stupid C-Gear.

Both 3DS and NDS devices, will have a hardware sales increase because of it.

Don't see how a DS game would make people upgrade to a 3DS......if anything a new Pokemon game for DS delays people from buying a 3DS.

Well it's better than ANOTHER two completely new games with ANOTHER 150 new dudes.

I think they've got enough pokemon at this point, they should make a more ambitious rpg. They're gradually accruing fans from younger and younger generations yeah, but eventually there's going to be a lot of people sick of the same game over and over. They can't keep making this sh!t.

Pokemon Rainbow - PS3 / 360 / Wii U. All the regions, all the pokemon. Do it. I know people think pokemon games should retain that retro feel, and it is great, but seriously, how come there hasn't been a really ambitious Pokemon title? It needs to happen.
