Xenoblade Chronicles will finally be out in North America on April 6th (just over a month!) and Gamestop has revealed a great pre-order bonus.
Xenoblade Chronicles composer Kenji Hiramatsu reflects on his work and feels that it's "time for a fresh start."
"It would be great if people had to buy more of the thing," says guy who makes money selling the thing.
If they did then collectors wouldn’t be getting f***** over with discless collectors editions
No shock, GameStop is alive because of trading. If they don't have used games on their shelves they are absolutely donezo.
Well of course the GS boss thinks this... that's their bread and butter business. That and funco pops and clothing, though those two were added as a means to supplement the decline in people buying used games or even new games. GS just sucks overall when it comes to gaming. I buy my physical stuff on Amazon or Best Buy.
As for "requiring" disc drives... nah. Not anymore, but i like having them as an option. They had a means back when games actually ran off the discs and were more/less complete. Now they are incomplete and the disc is really an installer with a license to play. If you want to change games you have to take out the disc and put in another. Its more convenient to just use digital. I have been into digital for years now and when the PSPortal comes along i wont even have to go into my game room. I will just play my PS5 from my couch downstairs. I have a bunch of digital installed games to my 5... I'm all set.
Tetsuya Takahashi has revealed his plan to make the next Xenoblade vastly different from previous games.
I liked the Xenoblade X formula. It takes awhile, but opening up Mechs was amazing. Especially once you can fly them, and use them in battle. You have to put some time into the game to do it, but it's worth it!
Also, the graphics were more realistic than the other games. Still looks good today, just a lot more pop-in than is acceptable today, hell even too much for back then. It wasn't game breaking though.
Xenoblade 1-3 and X are so great. That said, I'm ready for them to do a big change up.
Already have my copy pre ordered. Day 1 purchase for this Nintendo exclusive masterpiece. I hope others do the same.
Its about time some RPGs are coming. I'm getting this, Tales of Graces f, and Ni no Kuni when it comes out
Wish we'd get one in Europe as well :C By the way, does someone know where you can get that really huge art-book? Think it only was it japanese
Can't f-en wait. Pre-order this a month ago. Still need to pre-order The Last Story. It's a great year for JRPG exclusives.
