Get ready! I am about to gush ridiculously about the new, upcoming game from Alawar Games… it’s called Natural Threat: Ominous Shores. It is sooooooo good… really good… obnoxiously good. I knew I needed to take a break and write the review about three hours ago, and I couldn’t help myself… I just kept playing and playing…
GDN: Alawar Entertainment’s new game, Natural Threat – Ominous Shores, is the most recent in their long line of very good hidden object games. I figured this was going to be like the common Facebook games you see pop up from time to time. Alawar appears to have a great reputation for putting out wonderful games but since I had not heard of the company previously, I was skeptical. Once I hit the download button, I was faced with around a 600MB download for the game which instantly started to build my anticipation. After I finished the game, I now understand why Alawar Entertainment has a good reputation for making an enjoyable game.
Lucy Evans writes: "With its combined gameplay aspects of puzzle-solving, hidden object adventure and multiple difficulty settings, Natural Threat: Ominous Shores is another solid title in the Alawar Entertainment software library. It doesn’t do anything new or revolutionary but the tried-and-tested formula is perfectly aimed at both younger and older gamers, making this an ideal title for families that enjoy gaming together".
Alawar Entertainment keeps its winning formula for hidden-object adventures in full swing with Natural Threat: Ominous Shores. We've had an early chance at taking the game for a spin; here's our take on the game.
