nice. these persona games are a bit mad. can't wait to see how it turns out

EDIT

my mistake. its a fighting game

I can't wait for Persona 5, not to be stingy but i personally hope it stays on Sony's home console.

i hope it goes multi platform, so it can have a greater chance of success.but the 360 crowd won't support this, persona has the difficulty level of the soul series.you make 1 mistake against the weakest enemys and your dead.going multi platform usually means dumbing it down, so i can see where your coming from.

What ? i dont like the 360 ... truly dislike it in fact . but let's lay off the crack .

Some of the most hardcore current japanese games are in fact on 360 , like most modern shooters ( ikaruga type , not dumb fps and tps) .

Persona wont find a ginormeous public on any platform because of it's niche nature . That's all , not some garbage about 360 players being dumb .

It's getting more exposure , because the game are that nice , and because it now got a well known anime serie , converting those anime fans , if they werent already into it , but it will still remain a niche .

And i can only agree with below . Persona games arent that hard , havent been past the first title , and pales in difficulty compared to the likes of Shin megami Tensei Nocturne maniacs edition .

lol "dumbing it down" ... Persona , as great as it is , is already the megaten serie dumbed down for more exposure .

Besides I'm pretty sure that dark souls sold just as well on 360 as PS3

Baka-akaB4454d ago (Edited 4454d ago )

Persona is hardly that hard , it actually lets you do plenty mistakes , and if you level well and regularly enough , it can even becomes easy .
It is in no way near the hardcore level of a regular megami tensei title .

Anyway i think it's obvious it will come as multi-platform now .

The games got a strong aesthetics , and nice realisation , but nothing that would be detrimental and lacking on either the ps3 or 360 .

It's even more obvious by the ease both handle Catherine , wich aside from a great game , was mostly likely an engine experiment for future titles .

And of course a persona spin off coming on both is evidence enough

Inside the Creation of Persona 4 Arena | Thisvthattv

Persona 4 has been an incredibly popular series for Atlus over the years. After its initial release on the PlayStation 2 in 2008, it has received a remake, multiple sequels, and various adaptations. Out of all of the ways that fans imagined their favorite characters interacting on screen, seeing them beat the life bars out of each other probably wasn’t what they had in mind. Today, we’ll be taking a closer look at one of the most interesting genre crossovers of the early 2010s, Persona 4 Arena.

A beginner's guide to Persona

Atlus’ Persona series has exploded in popularity. This means there are not only mainline installments, but also ports, updated releases, reimaginings and spin-offs. There are all interesting games that do cool things with elements from the series, but it is also a series where you probably shouldn’t go and begin with the very first game. Fortunately, it isn’t difficult to find a good starting point.

Frome what I remember, the PSP version of Persona 3 added the ability to command your teammates in battle? There was something different/better about battle for the PSP one. I remember noticing because I played 4, started 3 on PSP, then started over when i got the ps2 version.

I would def recommend playing either 3 or 4 before 5. the menus and the colors and fonts and everything in 5 was just SO MUCH to get used to. I felt like it was a comic book and an episode of JoJo at once. Amazing game, though lol
