Resident Evil 6: Capcom Issues Statement on PC Version Delays

GameBandits: "We could not help but notice that Capcom’s games are usually delayed for the PC. Just think of the upcoming games, Street Fighter X Tekken and Resident Evil 6. These games will be launched earlier on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3."

thats not a statement, thats something pulled out of someones ass. All their games could come out for pc day 1, as their engine is made to work on pc/arcade machines and console. They delay on purpose because they think pc gamers who own consoles will buy the console version instead of pirating the pc version if there is a delay.

Pretty much this ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Actually, you can't just plop a game onto pc and have it run. It takes a lot of additional programming. You have to program it to install, run on various cpu's, and core setups, pc specific controls and menus, etc, etc.
Not to mention testing for driver support and correcting any errors and crashes.
The team is probably fully booked just working on the console versions.
I don't mind waiting as long as it's going to come out right.

they are probably busy unlocking the DLC that is already written on the discs for PC buy adding that line of code so that it is ready to play straight after install-unlike the console versions which come without the key data to unlock.

they also cant release 25 versions of the same game on pc, wish they were more honest. It doesnt tkae that much to make money with a pc version, just look at alan wake turning a profit in 48 hours despite being like 2 years late to pc.

Same with La Noire. They alwa7ys claim that we Pc gamers are all pirates, but a ton of Multiplats sell lik sex on the PC. Deus Ex, Skyrim, KoA, and now Alan Wake. XD, so much for PC piracy when all these games are turning good profits.

Maybe I'll wait year or so, and get Gold Edition because I know for a fact they will release it again with a different coloured sleeve. Plus it will come with all the overpriced DLC.

And now I am not going to buy it day 1. Why should i pre order or pay day 1 prices when others are doing the same and getting it earlier? Hit me up with those steam sales.

Street Fighter X Tekken - A Look Back at the Franchise's Biggest Misfire

With Street Fighter 6 now upon us, it's time to look back at some classic Street Fighter titles, beginning with Street Fighter X Tekken.

boing1331d ago

It was a cool gamble imo. In reality, everyone were waiting for Namco version, Tekken X Street Fighter.

Ryuha1234h331d ago

I don’t know. I enjoyed this game. I thought it was a great crossover.

TricksterArrow330d ago (Edited 330d ago )

Yep, played very little of it, but from what I played, it was serviceable enough. Could've been better? Yes, but then again, you can say that about pretty much anything.

maniacmayhem330d ago

What killed this game was their planned reliance on GaaS with the whole gem system. It made little sense and made the game extremely unbalanced. Not to mention the unbalance of most of the characters, especially on the Tekken side

Sgt_Slaughter330d ago

Ahhh the game that Capcom had DLC on the disc on release yet you had to pay to unlock it
