Today, IGN spoke at length with Sony Computer Entertainment America's CEO and President Jack Tretton about all things PlayStation. The PlayStation Vita took center stage in the discussion, but inevitably, the next generation of PlayStation consoles came up.
It seems it was long time ago. A bunch of friends spending hours on end playing RPG games, sitting around the table with the box of cold pizza. Excited about the story, listening to the Game Master, they were completely engaged in the worlds only visible to them and their imaginations.
The GM is the programmer, and in MMOs and co-ops, you can play with others. If you want to ONLY use your imagination for the visuals, read a book.
Scrawl: "Looks like we know how that new Compile Heart countdown is going to end. The latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed that Agarest Senki 2, known as Record of Agarest War 2 in the US, is Compile Heart’s newest title."
1) Hope they put it on disc this time.
2) Hope this is a positive for Neptune coming over as well.
Is this a half decent SRPG, porn aside, cause if it is, i might just decide to go and buy it for the 360.
This is not the first time that Bless Online receives a server merge in Korea. An announcement was made on the official Korean site.
Bless must be an amazing game to be on all these platforms (according to the tags): iPad iPhone Nintendo DS PC PS Vita PS2 PS3 PS4 PSP Wii Wii U Xbox Xbox 360 Xbox One
I'll be ready for the PS4 whenever Sony wants to give it to us. With all the Vita stuff and PS3 stuff I'm buying this year I sort of appreciate the wait.
Launch in 2013 once the Vita has settled and the list of PS3 releases isn't so long.
They should not release it in 2012, this year should really focus on the vita. Making sure that the vita gains solid ground and sell well outsid eof japan should be top priority. Maybe next year would be best for the PS4
The vita is a complete waste of my time. They aren't even gonna scratch the surface in terms of market share within the next 5 years. To say the Chief would be distracted by the ps4 is disheartening. Reason being is the Vita is nothing more than a psp with an extra analog stick with decent graphics. It's not like the Vita can ever replace a ps3 let alone the ps4. <sigh> and yes I already played Uncharted, wipeout, and other titles on the thing so I'm not just talking smack. Sony is just lucky to have some of the best first party studio's and software around. I just can't wait for the ps4 so their first party studios won't be so restricted anymore. They have very talented dev teams, all they need is more processing power and then you'll really see their IP's really shine.
To be honest, I'm tired of the PS3! bring on the next generation please.
