From the PlanetXbox360.com feature article:
"One of Sony’s longest awaited games has finally arrived on the PlayStation 3, and it’s none other than David Scott Jaffe’s reboot of his own Twisted Metal brand. Not that we really needed it, mind you, as Twisted Metal Black on the PS2 was dark and decadent enough to thrill us for years; we look at five reasons why it would be amazing to have Twisted Metal on the Xbox 360."
Everyone knows Twisted Metal... I mean literally everyone! Whether it is simply a childhood classic for you, or one of the worst, mind-corrupting disgraces to entertainment you can think of, you've at least heard of this iconic title.
The WellPlayed crew gathers to pitch an appropriately deranged set of options for the future of Twisted Metal.
All I ask for is a new Twisted Metal that allows flat screen & PSVR2 cross play that also supports a wheel.
Would be heaven.
They need to get the enemy AI balance right. Thats what made 2 the best in the series. Black was abysmal in that dept.
You don't. Do sequels. If you've gotta reboot, might as well do a new IP. God of War is the only game I can say that did a successful reboot
The rumours were legit. The Twisted Metal franchise is coming back, Sony
officially announced at CES 2022.
I hope it follows the gameplay style of hardware rivals, seriously that game was awesome to play
Will buy and Jaffe game on the Xbox 360!
Whatever you say Chief.
No, not really. I have a PS3. If I had wanted TM, I'd have gotten it. They are called exclusives because if you want to play them, you've got to have the host system.
If Xbox only folk want to play TM, then they'll get a PS3 or go to a buddie's place. You're wasting your time with this "OMG WHAT IF?!" nonsense.
I just spent two minutes saying Twisted Metal in weird voices when I saw the title and I don't know why. I think that if it did go to the 360 it would be pretty good for sales but that's really a choice for Eat Sleep Play.
I have a ps3 and I'm not buying this game. 360 owners don't need TM. TM needs 360 owners cause it contributes to more sells for the game. I have never felt as a owner of a 360 that I needed any game on the ps3, which maybe a reason why I had it since MGS4 released and only have 7 used hardcopy games and two Psn games (ff7, warhark haven't played that in the last three years) so why would I start needing a game on it now?
