Why I'm Excited for Darksiders 2

Why Darksiders 2 is going to be good...

I'm replaying Darksiders 1 on Apocalyptic right now to get ready for DS2.

There are only 3 must have games for me this year and Darksiders 2 is one of them.

Edit: Mass Effect 3 and Halo 4. Nothing else is day one for me. Except maybe a new Castlevania because LOS was incredible.

What are the other two? I will buy a ton of games but the ones i am really looking forward to are Darksiders 2, Prototype 2 and the new Tomb Raider (hopefully it turns out as well as it seems). The Last of Us too if it comes out this year but i doubt it.

I didnt like Castlevania, I thought it was not inspiring.

Darksiders on the other hand will be awesome! I hope it is as least as good as 1st one.

It's a must play for me as well. Cannot wait for it.

I'm not into Halo, but will also check out Mass Effect 3.

Still not sure why people loved Castlevania: LOS so much. I thought it was mediocre and featured some very dull and elongated sections, which were just there to add to its "longevity" selling point. For example, a lot of Chapter 2 was useless.

I wonder if War will feature? hope this game is as good as the first.

Those four are head and shoulders above any other in this genre.

Castlevania: LoS is also really great. It starts out a little slow but in my list it would outrank Ninja Gaiden.

I agree with you. I bought LoS a couple of months after it was released on an impulse buy. I was very surprised with how much I liked it, and I'm really looking forward to any potential sequel(s).

SPOILERS: Some may have found the story lacking. But I'm a romantic to a fault. So I thought there was enough motivation to get the job done. Also the ending? Fantastic. My jaw dropped in disbelief. I was upset. Not because it ended with him failing and I felt cheated. I was upset because somewhere along the line I genuinely got attached and wanted to see him succeed.

Of course I'm referring to the ending that came on the disc. As I have yet to play any of the dlc for it.

The DLCs are a little short for the asking price and could have been combined into one but they are okay. Also they don't follow after the ending sequence but after the last chapter in the game.
I am also really hoping for a sequel.
