Jesse Foss wrote "Do you remember the fun and free to play game, “Octodad” where you played an Octopus disguised as a father trying his best to fit in with this family while awkwardly maneuvering through the endless obstacles within your own house? Well we have great news! Octodad 2 is funded and on the way!!!!
Valid Gaming recently had a skype interview with the developers of Octodad and discussed their newest project, “Octodad 2″. The project was successfully funded on Kickstarter which means that they can go ahead and further the development of the game and be even closer to releasing it to the rabid fans. With such news, we all have to take sleeping pills just to fall asleep at night!"
“Loving father, caring husband, secret octopus.” That is the tagline for the upcoming game Octodad: Dadliest Catch scheduled for release in 2014. As ridiculous as it sounds, the game’s protagonist is an octopus trying to disguise himself as a human and avoid alerting his family members. The result is undeniably hilarious. I had the good fortune to be able to play the Octodad PS4 demo at this year’s SDCC.
Every time I watch gameplay I burst out laughing it's such a ridiculous concept for a game it's so brilliant!
I just hate it that some people assume that it will be terrible just because its an indie games. Its like they forgot about Journey and the walking dead. I can't wait to see more of this game since it looks wacky and silly as heck.

The biggest AAA developers and publishers are embracing the PC again as a real gaming platform, the independent scene is as vibrant and brilliant as ever, and the cost of a new machine is dropping every day. While there are hundreds of games coming to the PC (and Mac and Linux, I haven’t forgotten about you two rascals) this year, I only have room to tell you about the ten that I’m most excited about."

I assumed Half Life 3 would be 2014. Just feels right to me.
However, if Valve are kicking off their own console, I'd imagine saying "Oh and every Steam box comes with Half Life 3 installed and ready to play" would make it a big hit.
Half Life 2 episode 3 is 2014....Ten years after Half Life 2 first released!
