The PSV has some great-looking launch games. Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Wipeout? Not bad at all.

TrendyGamers4461d ago

The PSN titles are pretty good too, I can't wait for Escape Plan and Super Stardust.

I really want a PSV day 1, but I have to buy a new computer for school and I just bought my wife a Samsung Galaxy for Valentine's Day, so I can't drop the coin this month... but I will be getting Twisted Metal this Tuesday and SSX later in the month, so it's not too bad. I'll get a PSV later... maybe during the summer or wait for a holiday bundle later in 2012.

@guitarded77

If the First Edition Bundles don't sell well, they could discount those ones after launch.

It looks like a nice offer.

TrendyGamers4461d ago

There's definitely a lot of great PSV launch titles.

Look forward to finally getting my hands on it :D cant wait to try the new Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Escape Plan and the new Lumines. Purchasing Uncharted at retail, but Escape Plan and Gravity Rush are download only in the UK, and although Lumines is a retail game as well the game is so addicting, so I would like to have access to it all the time :D

I actually wasn't too interested in the launch titles at first, but after reading some reviews, I'm definitely interested in the new Lumines game as well as Rayman Origins and Uncharted Golden Abyss.

All I ask for is a new Twisted Metal that allows flat screen & PSVR2 cross play that also supports a wheel.
Would be heaven.

Babadook7281d ago

Wow. I like the idea of VR twisted metal with a wheel.

Rebel_Scum281d ago

They need to get the enemy AI balance right. Thats what made 2 the best in the series. Black was abysmal in that dept.

neomahi281d ago

You don't. Do sequels. If you've gotta reboot, might as well do a new IP. God of War is the only game I can say that did a successful reboot

TiredGamer281d ago (Edited 281d ago )

Isn’t the new GoW just a sequel technically?

I personally think they can leverage the roots of the series. The original TM in 1995 took place on Christmas Eve 2005, and it was the 10th contest in history. Why not “reboot” the franchise by making a prequel of sorts showing the origin story of the series and maybe linking all the future games in a brilliant way. Seems like such an obvious idea to leverage old with the new (kind of look how Doom 2016 did with its lore).

Just make it a good game Twisted Metal has it's fan base.
