Call of Duty franchise being the primary reason for such success
Activision-Blizzard’s have several global powerful franchises that seem to rake in the money year after year, and this year was never going to be different.
However, managing to double their annual net profit to just over $1.08 billion is quite remarkable. In another record year for the company, they posted revenues of $4.76 billion, up from $4.45 billion the previous year, as net profit rose by $418 million for the calendar year of 2011.

This is what developers and manufacturers should do. I know going after cheat devices/makers is a cat and mouse game, and cost money. However, they can get that money back by sueing these manufacturers of cheat devices. Take a page from Nintendo's playbook.
