Paul Greasley has announced that he is currently working on a sequel to his wondrously unique freeware title Under The Garden which was originally released in 2010. With a new setting and more of an emphasis on survival, Paul and his co-developer Mike Rietzenstein are hoping that Under The Ocean will be a much stronger game than the notoriously buggy first.
Under The Ocean spent more than a year on Steam Early Access, but—despite steady progress and a relatively fun experience—the survival game's creator yanked it from Valve's service. His reasoning? He's not sure if he can deliver on his promises anymore, and he wants to make sure he's not being dishonest with players.
Island survival platformer, Under the Ocean, is being shifted from a 2D platform game, to a 3D one, according to the latest development update.
Whaaa-? I haven't checked it out in a while, it's been a few months since I last played. Guess I'll have to see what's new now lol.
