An eGamer journalist reflects on five very popular games that won't be remembered once something better comes along.
Recently, players of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone were met with a new bundle featuring the B.E.A.S.T. Glove, inspired by King Kong's armament in the Godzilla x Kong movie. However, the $80 price tag attached to this themed accessory left many Call of Duty fans feeling underwhelmed.
Morons that allow themselves to be milked continuously by this company is the definition of irony.
Spend more $$ and you'll end up In easier lobbies so you win both ways when ya spend that cash
Controversy in the COD community feels like it happens within an alternate timeline. Activision will take the piss with something, there will be a momentary fuss about it, and then they will forget about it and carry on anyway. Repeat this cycle literally every year for the rest of time.
I'm so tired of hearing about what they're doing with this game, its never going to change and it's never going to value the consumer over money, furthermore the people who engage so heavily in the microtransactions I guess allegedly are having a blast and can't wait to do it some more this year when the new version of the game drops.
Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.
RPGs are often huge, sprawling endeavours. With limited playtime, we have to choose wisely, so here's the best western RPGs available today.

You have to hand it to Valve and Blizzard when it comes to people remembering games. I think games from both those companies are legends. They simply just dont die, its as if they were immortals, laughing and surpassing every mortal game that comes and has its time in the limelight.
Imo games like Starcraft, SC2, CS, TF2, Warcraft 3, World of warcraft are simply legendary.
Call of Duty will be remembered. So far shows no signs of decline.
Skyrim will be remembered. Oblivion will not. The difference between those two games is that Oblivion is awful and Skyrim is fantastic. Morrowind and Skyrim will be the only games in TES series to be remembered when the years pass (Unfortunately, as good as Arena and Daggerfall are, they won't be remembered because they were not nearly as popular).
I loved Daggerfall and will always remember it. Walking through the snow, lost in the forest while snowed into my dingy old apartment (good times good times) The greater audience will probably remember Skyrim the way they remember Morrowind and be waiting for the next Elder Scrolls game because of it. I agree with KFox109 that Oblivion will not be remembered as much because it was not as good.
For blizzard games that reynod declared the most memorable I remember starcraft (still own it) and Diablo (only really remember the cows) but thats about it. I know I played other games of theirs but dont remember them. Valve? What are they known for except for people asking for another Half Life (a game I never could get myself to finish...but it was pretty old by the time I tried to play it)? I dont think I have ever finished any of their games...but I could be wrong and just dont remember it.
I agree MW3 wont be remembered, but only because MW comes out too often so its like Madden, they all blur together. Batman, I havent even played the last one yet but thought the first one was a bit overrated (boss fights were a letdown). The last AC... too many games before getting to what they consider AC3 so I agree it will be forgotten as just fancy DLC for AC2.
Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood memorable? I am pretty sure I played it. I played the first two and that was two right? I recall it being fun but I couldnt tell you any specifics.
Thus I conclude it is all opinion (which actually the writer kind of says in his intro). The things in the article are not memorable to THAT guy. The blizzard/Valve stuff is memorable to reynod. Other games like ME, Gears, Morrowind, Daggerfall, and the First Chronicals of Riddick are memorable to me.
The posting of this article has in effect negated its title.
