I don't know what he's going on about. WWE games get better by the year and the sales justify that.

The only people who gripe about WWE games are people who aren't fans or haven't played enough wrestling games to know what changed.

EDIT: Also, he rails on the animations in WWE but did he play WWE 12? That has some of the best animation transitions in any game released in any genre to-date thanks to the Predator technology. Did we play the same game?

Really? Because I've played the game since SVR2006 and it still feels the damn same. Even with "Predator", it's still a glitchfest that takes away elements every year while adding more. You really think the CAW is fresh from that year? You really think the gameplay is fresh from then? Naw.

They can't keep everything while adding more. It's impossible to keep up with that way. Limitations on the Xbox 360/PS3's memory comes into play as well here. The "predator" technology is truly the best thing to ever hit the WWE games ever. It's truly taken the gameplay and made it feel fresh again over the last few years dating back from 2007. SVR2006 feels NOTHING like WWE'12, you'd only be a fool to think that it does.

It's a glitchfest because of the fact that it is new technology and it needs to be tested more thoroughly but WWE, the company, doesn't give them enough time to do so unfortunately. They had to get the tech out now though or else people would've really criticized WWE'12 for being the exact same as SVR'11. Over the next few iterations they'll do their best to make sure that it doesn't have many glitches while adding new things in and advancing existing creation suites too.

So maybe they should stop the yearly format is what your saying? That's what the dude said in the article!

Uh they can't. WWE wants it that way and so they have to. No way around it.

An intro to Biomutant

Alex & Mike talk Biomutant, a game from Experiment 101/THQ Nordiq you likely have not heard of. While the AAA side of the industry tends to homogenization and imitative, cinematic presentation, “AA” games remain creative and innovative in 2021. Drawing on inspirations as varied as Dark Souls, third person shooters & kung fu cinema, Biomutant is Ratchet & Clank on acid, developed by a team of 20 people.

Are Wrestling Games Getting Worse?

Some of you may know that the latest instalment in the WWE gaming franchise 2K20 was released late last year to generally poor reviews. Some of this was based on graphical issues, but mostly it was due to the many glitches and bugs found – many of which are hilarious to witness.

Fire Pro needs more love. The last PS4 title gets regular playtime from me.

I hear that there are financial troubles at the studio, but I'm hopeful for a Switch port one of these days.

Anyone remember Giant Gram Wrestling on the Dreamcast .....

Rambokind1578d ago

Ah hell yes! That was loads of fun.

Acecalibur1578d ago

Fire Pro just gets better. Buy it.

micdagoat191578d ago

I have Fire Pro for PS4 and PC but it seems more of like a Sim creator rather than people actually playing out matches. I still dont like anything as much as the N64 games

Golden Era of wrestling games in the Golden Era of wrestling. I've been contemplating going back and getting a N64 and getting those classic's
WWF Wrestlemania 2000

addictedtochaos1578d ago
