PlayDevil has posted a review of the new aircraft game "Jane's Advanced Strike Fighters" (or JASF).
"One could be lead to believe that very little can go wrong in terms of all round presentation in an aircraft game as the action all takes place in the skies but let me assure you JASF is really badly done. By this I refer to the fact that the whole package offers very little in the atmosphere stakes with some all round poor graphics particularly in the form of the backgrounds which would not look out of place in the era of the PS2 and original Xbox. "
Daav from NoobFeed.com takes to the skies in Jane's Advanced Strike Fighters. A series of inexplicable design decisions paired with some of the most boring flying an arcade game could have, make this title passable for just about anyone.
This game has been out for a while. And it sucks. Do not buy it. I rented it on gamefly and sent it back the next day. James used to make quality games, I have not idea why this hot mess was even made. It is a discredit to their past library.
DAMNIT! I hoped this was a remake for just the PC. I played "Janes" games like crazy in the 90's. F-15 was absolutely awesome.
