Nice list, glad to see Fatal Frame 2 there, one of my favorite games.

All PS Minis, PS1, PS2, PSN, and HD Collections need to be playable on PS3 and PS Vita. And if possible added to PlayStation Suite.

Sony needs to have this established before the launch of the PS4, so they can add all PS3 games to that list for the PS4 launch.

PS Minis: $1 - $5
PS1: $5
PS2: $10
PSN: $5 - $20
HD: $20 - $30
PS3: $10 - $40

That's thousands of games to download.

Okami would be perfect, especially since its on a touchpad

iNcRiMiNaTi4473d ago (Edited 4473d ago )

That's pretty obvious but this article has nothing to do with the Vita. Dunno why you brought it up

Bodster4473d ago

Not exactly ps2 specific classics, but after buying GTA III for my iPad, I just want vice city and San Andreas!

brettyd4473d ago

I think GTA3 works fairly well on my iphone...until i start getting into gunfights. Touch controls just don't work as well as regular sticks and buttons. Tablet gaming is more of a hassle than anything IMO.

I'd much rather see these games on the Vita.

Any RPG that barely requires finger agility and dexterity.

Like FF X game or similar xD

I thought the remakes has been in full production for a while now

Skuletor3h ago

You mean the game that already released almost 200 days ago now?

The_Hooligan1d 2h ago

Hope they do physical release.

ravens521d 2h ago

Be another Alan Wake 2 situation if not. I hope they're not that pigheaded. Like really, if they're that petty I won't even wait for a physical release.

LucasRuinedChildhood1d 1h ago

They have a different publisher for Max Payne than they did for Alan Wake 2 (Rockstar instead of Epic) so there probably will be a physical release for Max Payne 1&2 at least.

ElaBosak9h ago

Rockstar is publishing. There will be physical release.

Cacabunga1d ago (Edited 1d ago )

No physical support no buy .. do not screw This up

neutralgamer199221h ago

Sure Alan wake 2 still hasn’t recovered development cost

ElaBosak9h ago(Edited 9h ago)

What does that have to do with digital release?

neutralgamer19922h ago

Ela

There are many gamers who will not buy a game if it does not have a physical release, especially for Big blockbusters. So not being on steam and not having a physical release definitely has a lot to do with the fact they have yet to make that development cost back

I myself want to buy it on steam and I will also buy a physical version on PS five or Xbox if it becomes available but I will not spend a single penny on epic Store. I just want one storefront and one game launcher. I have no other reason to hate on epic or any other storefront.

jznrpg15h ago

To lose money again? Do you want them to close?

ElaBosak9h ago

Wdym lose money? How big do you think the physical games market is?

darksky20h ago

Max Payne is a far better franchise than Alan Wake. This should be good.

Didn't expect to see Drakengard in a list like this, considering the awful gameplay. Still, it's the best terrible game I've ever played. 10/10 would recommend

Would love to see a remake one day, but only if they don't censor the fucked up story and characters. That and a Drakengard 3 remake, of course.

Vits26d ago

Drakengard made it onto the list mainly because Nier gave it a cult following later on. Honestly, it wouldn't have made the cut for any ACTION RPG list on its own. The characters are cool, the story is mess up in a good way, the lore is confusing and great, but the gameplay alone kill any chance of it being a recomended ACTION RPG.

Would love a remake of the series with updated gameplay. Drakengard 3 with Automata's hack and slash would be gold.

DarXyde26d ago

Some absolute gems on this list. Wholeheartedly agree with Rogue Galaxy, Dark Cloud 2, Radiata Stories, Odin Sphere, and Devil Summoner 2.

Some others, I can't comment on because I've never played or I didn't feel particularly strongly about them.

But hot take: I don't think Kingdom Hearts II really survives the test of time.

RavenWolfx26d ago

I cannot recommend Rogue Galaxy enough. It is on PSN+ as part of the subscription, so definitely check it out.

Just look at Alan Wake 2, it quite literally has the exact same character. This model in This article looks nothing like any rendition of max

FPS_D3TH35d ago

I don’t think about what he’s going to look like so much as I wonder as to what he’ll sound like after James Mcaffery passed away suddenly last year. He was the voice of Max Payne and it’s hard for me to imagine Max voiced by anyone else.

mkis00735d ago

Why would they need new voice-overs? I imagine the lines will be the same. It's story is part of the appeal and the delivery of the dialogue, especially during the comic scenes is iconic to me. They may have had the idea to add more lines, but I think the path is clear with him gone now.

FPS_D3TH34d ago

It’s a remake. Not a remaster and it combines both games. I’d be willing to bet $100 a lot changes.

Auron35d ago

More like max will be changed to maxine
