Armored Core V Preps PS3 Community for Deep Multiplayer Action

PSBlog: FromSoftware, developer of last fall’s critically acclaimed Action-RPG Dark Souls, has been spreading bullets from mech-to-mech for nearly 15 years since the very first Armored Core premiered on the PSone back in 1997. So needless to say, when it comes to intense metal-shredding action and hardcore strategy, the team at FromSoftware knows what they’re doing… but will you?

i wished this game was exclusive to sony but optimized for the console and sony makes another flight stick to be compatible.

after seeing how both the PS3/360 versions run below 30fps, I'll wait for a pretty low price before I pick it up, I suppose

despite running at lower frames it still plays great. i suggest you download the demo ( japanaese ) and try it before writing it off over some frames

On SONY ps3 runs 21fps and Xbox 360 26fps how the hell is this ever going to run playeble on multiplayer online. And frankly at this day and age how is it possible to release a game with so bad framerate to the consumers!

Big downgrade from the speed of AC4A. Operator sounds useless. We're suppose to build ACs that kills everything no matter what the situation.

This video made it seem more casual.

Fans of AC have a great game to look forward to. People who want to have heavy mechs fighting it out without the flying around in the air over-the-top-crap will have to wait it seems :(

Someone should make Chromehounds II.

NOW THE REAL QUESTION WHO WANTS TO PLAY HAZE.....

Fluke_Skywalker2139d ago

Haze was nowhere near as bad as it was made out to be. I actually really liked it.
It was just released at a bad time when Sony and the PS3 could do no right. The developers and Sony over hyped it and it fell on its own sword.

The framerate and rending were more of the concern over resolution for me, and I can see they are making solid strides. Haze runs pretty well and doesn't seem to have many graphical or audio glitches (one cannot say the same for Ghost Recon lol). Given Sony hasn't provided any real backwards compatibility options, this is something I might consider. I still have my PS3 hooked up if I have a hankering for some last gen goodness, but I also wouldn't mind playing those games with either increased resolution or frame rate, whenever the emulator gets to that point :-)
