Push Square: "Laughing Jackal knows how to make an addictive game. Seriously, the fact that we're once again glued to OMG-Z speaks for itself; we'll simply not rest until we hit 100%.
"Needless to say we're excited to get our hands on Laughing Jackal's latest PlayStation Mini: Hungry Giraffe. The game's set to drop onto the European PlayStation Store on February 8th, where it will live as a PlayStation Plus exclusive for a couple of weeks before going on general sale for £2.49."
Sometimes you just want to bury your face into a burger, or tear into a taco. Out on the African savanna, a Hungry Giraffe feels your pain. A 20 foot tall, 1200kg animal like the giraffe needs to chow down on tons of food each day just to stay alive, and now you can help achieve that on your Vita.
We get to grips with Laughing Jackal's remake for the PS Vita. Is it worth another look?
Pocket Gamer - In-app purchases, eh?
Whether you're a fan of paying to unlock features from within a game or not, there's no doubt that this payment model needs to be carefully employed so that it doesn't become intrusive or break the immersion.
Take Hungry Giraffe. On PSP it was a wonderful eat-'em-up. On PS Vita it's drowning in pleas for cash, and the main spectacle is completely destroyed as a result.
