BeefJack: "Whatever shred of curiosity piqued by the mystery of the Westwick and the Darkstar cannot overcome absolutely everything else that’s wrong. The movie is bogged down by the needs of the game, and what little game there is restricts the potential ironic enjoyment of the movie. When you compare it to today’s approach to cinematic games, it’s clear why Darkstar’s method has been forgotten: it’s not really a game at all, and there’s certainly nothing else going for it."

Darkstar the Interactive Movie developed by Parallax Studios, immediately leaps out with a barrage of character that sets it apart from the crowd. The Darkstar feels like a love letter written to fans of classic Sci-Fi and live action gaming of the 90s, sadly the game is also over a decade late.

Lace Mamba Global to Publish Darkstar-The Interactive Movie

Lace Mamba Global have announced that it will be publishing Darkstar- The Interactive Movie, a Science Fiction adventure game for PC and Mac, developed by J. Allen Williams at Parallax Studio, in 2011. Darkstar, both an adventure game and an interactive movie, features more than thirteen hours of Full Motion Video sequences which is more animated footage than any other game in history and has over two-dozen alternate endings.
