WWEGames Creative Director, Cory Ledesma, may have revealed on twitter that the graphics in WWE '13 may look similar to that of WWE '12.
Some of you may know that the latest instalment in the WWE gaming franchise 2K20 was released late last year to generally poor reviews. Some of this was based on graphical issues, but mostly it was due to the many glitches and bugs found – many of which are hilarious to witness.
Fire Pro needs more love. The last PS4 title gets regular playtime from me.
I hear that there are financial troubles at the studio, but I'm hopeful for a Switch port one of these days.
I have Fire Pro for PS4 and PC but it seems more of like a Sim creator rather than people actually playing out matches. I still dont like anything as much as the N64 games
Yes, the WWE ones at least. The last good one was 2K14 and the last great one was Here Comes the Pain.
There's been so many great wrestling games throughout the years. But this list of the 10 best wrestling games of all time will crown one true champion.
Bidness Gaming: WWE wrestling games went through several transitions, but in the end we saw it all end in a count-out!
IMO the story aspects became the worst. the universe mode isn't as good as the GM mode(imo)
commentary is really bad
enemy ai isn't good neither is hit detection
instead of putting effort into single player story all we have gotten are past glory moments. i mean we are basically watching replays of old matches
i am surprised we didn't get a true wwe vs wcw game
the one wwe game few years ago with wcw story line was good(i had fun with story mode atleast)
here comes the pain
shut your mouth
day of reckoning
no mercy
are some of the best wwe wrestling games
He makes a good point though. WWE games have a lot more going on. They have massive stadiums, the crowd isn't made from sprites anymore and are fully rendered now, depth of field, stages and physics objects.
It just has a lot more going on than UFC where you are only looking at a close up of two guys unlike WWE 12 where their could be 5 guys having a ladder match, or 6 guys having a cage match all while having the crowd being rendered.
Next gen for sure though.
I gave up the series long time ago, the best one was here comes the pain on the legendary ps2
Why wouldn't they make a huge upgrade like FIFA, look at EA, the gameplay, gfx and attention to detail is unparallelled and keep in mind that football is harder to develop imo than the wwe, the latest physics nine for impacts in fifa is awesome, I love the wwe an done day i hope for a great wrestling game that impressed me like no mercy and HCTP at their time, that's my rant....peace
How wrong can you be Pintheshadows? WWE'12 is an ENTIRELY different code from the PS2 games and the animations are nowhere NEAR as advanced on the PS2 as they are in WWE'12. They did a completely new animation and physics system for WWE'12 that wasn't even present in the past games, first off. Second, FIFA 2000 DOES look similar to FIFA 2012 dude, there's no if, and's, or but's about that.
Have you seen the picture in my profile of CM Punk? That's from the game, if you think that looks poor then you don't know what "good graphics" are at all. I took the liberty of putingt a few pictures and a video up for you to show you the difference by the way.
HCTP is NOT as fluid at all! You have GOT to be kidding me. Sounds like you haven't even played WWE'12 and you're basing your conclusion on things that you may have sen from Youtube. You are comparing a game that has AT THE MAX, 2 People on screen at once at an up close angle at all times vs a game that has up to 6 playable stars, a FULLY RENDERED 3D crowd, and 3 other fully rendered 3D on-screen NPC's, Jerry Lawler, Michael Cole, and the Referee. There's no way you should be comparing the two, you can compare UFC and Fight Night though, much better comparison.
Don't feel sorry for the WWE games. The graphics are great and you have proven that you haven't even seen the game let alone played it before. you're just saying things just because you can. The game looks JUST AS DETAILED as Fight Night, the difference is that you're not looking at the two wrestlers up close at all times like you are in Fight Night or in UFC games. Just check out the links dude, you're so wrong about everything you've said here.
