Kotaku - Major League Baseball 2K12 is widely expected to be in its walk year, the final season of a fat contract going back seven years. Unlike a superstar in the big leagues, this is not a cause for optimism that fans will see an above-average performance. Not when the performer is the one paying the contract, and not when it has been notoriously inconsistent despite having the Xbox 360 all to itself.

They’re a nuisance to some and there’s no doubt that they never change too drastically from year to year but as most sports fans will tell you, they change just enough. Though that can’t always be said as some games seemingly churn out nearly the same experience year to year or, of course, have an off year or two. In this feature I will analyze the sports games of 2012 and ultimately decide which sports game did the most to improve, and which did the least. This is by no means determining the Sports Game of the Year category in our annual GiR awards; it’s merely my opinion on the past year’s beloved recurring franchises that often include a ball… or a puck if you want to get real crazy. They have the misfortune of competing with The Show...which is, far and away, the best sports series this generation.

Thank God, Hopefully now the 360 will be able to have a good baseball game.
MLB 2K can not go any where it must find away to stick around , PS fans have thier show game , but if 2K goes then we will get stuck with an EA carbon copy of madden every year but in baseball & we have seen how they have improved madden a bit , but for every inprovement thier are 25 screw up . may have to start a pettion so to keep 2k around .
