Could Inversion Be The Next Great Third Person Shooter? | GamerLive.TV

Lets face it, your have probably played at least one third person shooter this console generation. Minus the story, they have all similar game-styles with little differences in between. With the Gears of War franchise retiring last September, the third person shooter genre is looking for someone to take reins and lead the genre into the next generation. After spending two hours with the game, I came away relativity surprised on what Saber Interactive was bring and how InVamous could be one of the biggest surprise hits of 2012.

"Let Me Solo Her" Receives A Special Award From Namco Bandai For His 1000th Victory Against Malenia

Immersed Gamer writes: "Let Me Solo Her is a legendary Elden Ring player who mastered one of the most infamous bosses to help his fellow tarnished via co-op. And for his service, he received an award from Namco Bandai to commemorate his 1,000th victory. The reward in question is a real, and extremely dope, custom-made sword.

Malenia is regarded as the hardest boss in Elden Ring, and the relentless Tarnished has defended literally thousands of hosts against this malice. Let Me Solo Her apparently passed 2,000 Malenia kills a while back, but it’s hard to measure the exact count he is at now. Bandai Namco sent the gift his way when he was at around 1,000 kills. But due to the nature of the object, it got stuck in customs for a while!"

Inversion - Saber Interactive's Big Hope All but Forgotten

Inversion launched 10 years ago today, but failed to leave a lasting impact on the third-person action genre.

I keep a very fond memory of the game. The story is very surprising, with an incredible twist towards the end (and I mean : incredible). Playing solo on hard was actually very hard. One of my best memories of a TPS from that generation.

I remember playing it, back when I was using gamestop as my personal gamefly service. I don't remember the story at all, just that the world would shift. The shooting was really decent for that type of game back then too.

Always used to spot this on the shelf in CEX but always skipped it.

This game was surprisingly awesome. I miss blowing enemies into pieces in video games.

I think the concept is what did this game in.

When most people play games and they come across upside down levels, reverse controls, or anything that breaks convention, they normally groan.

I myself am guilty of that too so. So to have an entire game built around that very concept probably wasn't the best idea.

TTT is one of my all time favorite games, but I always found its soundtrack to be terrible. I'd mute the music and put my own on.
