Warlock: Master of the Arcane Preview (TruePCGaming)

What’s different about Warlock from other civilization-building games is that Earth (or an alternative Earth where Gandhi can wage war on Washington for befriending Caesar) is not the setting; it takes place in a fantasy universe. More specifically, that of the Majesty series which Paradox has been using for a variety of different games recently. The fantasy twist adds a bit of a surrealistic feel to the Civilization formula. Judging by what we’ve played so far, Warlock has the opportunity to make quite a name for itself in the turn-based strategy world.
