The Xbox Live Arcade has evolved past simple arcade recreations or ports of simplified console games of the past. Choplifter HD is a remake of a very simple series that operated on a 2D plane. This game remains on the 2D plane but remains effective adding to the terror and emergency of this situation. Your objective varies depending on the mission but without fail will involve you dodging rockets, gunfire, and anti-air fire constantly. The game is a constant balance of finishing your main objective, keeping your fuel from emptying, and saving news reporter Scoop Sanderson.
