The VGW staff slaved away to create a comprehensive countdown of the best games the past 12 months had to offer. These may not be the highest-rated games of the year, but, looking back, these are the top 25 games we’ll fondly remember as defining 2011.
In keeping the number down to 25, many games that were worthy of a spot were inevitably left off. If a game you thought should be on here isn’t, don’t take offense, as we are now exiting a year that might just be looked back on as the greatest we’ve ever seen. I loved this game and have played since launch but don't let this article fool you, this game is a step above life support. While they are still technically updating the game, the updates are few and far between and there is a significant lack of quality control, so many little bugs that have been present for years.
Man i love lists of the top games!
LittleBigPlanet 2 only the 25th best game of 2011? Whatever, that's bulls**t. There were alot of great games in 2011 but LBP2 is GOTY by far. Nothing even comes close. LBP2 is my favorite game of this generation. I love the community levels. I can never get tired of playing LBP2.
