Captainstarball Writes: I was lucky enough to attend Blizzcon 2011 and I had the pleasure of spending some quality time with some of their Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm multiplayer booths. The upcoming expansion certainly has a number of interesting tweaks, especially regarding the philosophy of online gameplay. At one of their panels, lead balance designers David Kim, Dustin Bowder, and John Menke often mentioned how armies often become incongruous blobs and for a game purported to be the harbinger of widespread e-Sports, that doesn’t make for an exciting scene. Instead, some of the new expansion units only function when apart from the main army. It’s an intriguing concept that will further reward players for excellent micromanagement skills while also allowing for a clearer vision when the main armies engage. In this three part series, I’ll outline my personal thoughts on many of the new multiplayer changes and the possible effects on the current e-Sports scene.
VGChartz's Taneli Palola: "I recently completed an article series about the history of real-time strategy, and going through so many different games that have shaped the face of the genre over the last 30 years got me thinking. Which real-time strategy titles are the ones that have had the greatest influence on the genre's development throughout its history? What you're reading now is my answer to that particular question."

Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "It’s Valentine’s Day, and that means a lot of chocolate, roses and tender moments with those we love the most. And while love might be one of the most powerful emotions of all it’s not exclusive to the realm of us ‘living’ beings as video game characters have proven time and time again that love transcends all dimensions, even virtual ones. So for this very romantic edition of Knights of the Round Cable we are taking a look at our favorite video game couples, the ones that reminds us that love exists in all forms, whether it be pixels or polygons."
I think I will just wait for CnC: Generals 2. SC2 left a bad taste in my mouth after a couple months of playing it.
