Andriasang: Nintendo managed some impressive sales numbers over the week of Christmas for the 3DS platform.
According to Famitsu and Enterbrain, 3DS shifted 510,629 units over the week. This brings its lifetime total above the four million mark, to 4,135,739 units.
The 510,629 unit figure is a new weekly high for the 3DS, breaking last week's record of 367,691 units.
Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land also sold large quantities last week. Both games crossed the million mark in domestic sales, becoming the first 3DS games to do so. Mario Land is now at 1,042,511 units (covering 11/3 to 12/25). Mario Kart is now at 1,082,391 units (covering 12/1 to 12/25)

My top 3 are Mario 3, Mario World and Mario 64. Mario Odyssey is also excellent, and I enjoyed Sunshine but didn't care for the Galaxy series.
Even if the eShop has now closed down, the best 3DS games are still worth playing — in any way you can get your hands on them.

Mario Kart 7 online is so smooth. Played like 11 races earlier back to back with gamers from usa, uk, france, japan, argentina, etc. with absolutely no lag or framedrops. All the new tracks are awesome and classics like SNES Rainbow Road look and play better than ever. Loving the Lucky 7...lol. Nintendo is on a roll and i'm loving my 3DS!
