Reef Entertainment have acquired the game rights to the first 3 Rambo films, and have announced that they will be releasing a Rambo game on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in 2012. Follow the link for more information.
Like any console, not every release was going to be a hit, and the PS3 certainly had its fair share of stinkers.
turning point had a really great story / concept... it just was very generic in its game play.
Oof! yeah, Ride was a huge fumble they tried to market twice.
Haven Fall of the King was dog-shi7-tastic and should be a runner up to some of those.
I'd even nominate Legend of Kay. Heh Haze... there is no excuse for that one (just pretend Haze did not happen).
MenStuff: "Fandom and loyalty to a brand or franchise can make us blind. Sometimes (and sadly, a lot of the time), developers get the opportunity to work with beloved franchises or licenses, getting us all on the hype-train, only to fail to meet up to the expectations demanded of die-hard fans."
The subject of bad video game adaptations has become one of the most consistent sources of video game comedy online. Nothing beats lampooning games like: X-Men for the NES, Friday the 13th and, of course, E.T. Sometimes it seems there is no bad game adaptation that hasn’t been roasted by the video game community.
I can confirm that 3 Ninjas game isn't too terrible.
I mean it's not good...but, you know, all things considered.
I knew about most of these, but had no idea that Konami made a Plan 9 From Outer Space movie, and a really bizarre one at that.
I hope Reef Ent. do a good job at it, there have been so many Rambo games out there, all of them have been big time flops. Let's hope this time around they hit the nail right on the head with this one.
Definitely has potential to be a good game but we'll see.
What's got me wondering is what genre it'd be. Probably a FPS, but I'd rather see it as a third person shooter.
gotta be 3rd person! i want to see gameplay similar to uncharted with the gore of god of war!!
Lol this new age generation of gaming is too soft for a true rambo game.
