Newsweek's Level Up were granted an exclusive hands-on preview
of Q-Games' PixelJunk Monsters:
"If there's a criticism that we'd make, it's that we aren't sure whether the game's art direction will appeal to the presumably hardcore audience which makes up the PS3's current ownership. This may seem like a strange nit to pick, but even though we're at this point very familiar with the game, every time we return to it, PixelJunk Monsters' audiovisual design keeps lulling us into believing that it's a kiddie game that won't pose enough of a challenge."
Each week Sony brings PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable owners new content, add-ons, games and more.
Twinfinite writes:
Nintendo has just revealed on their website that PixelJunk Monsters will be coming to the Wii U via the eShop tomorrow.
Wow that is unexpected for such an old, but good game. First time the game has been on a console that wasn't Sony.

If you know anything about Q-Games, you know that we made a name for ourselves during the PlayStation 3 era with our acclaimed PixelJunk series. Debuting way back in 2007, we were one of the first indies to cut our teeth on the newly released console. Our idea for the series was simple: rework old school gaming concepts in beautiful high-definition visuals, while keeping the easy to learn, difficult to master gameplay that made us fall in love with games in the first place.
Game is looking better and better, I can't wait until next month. 2008 is the year of the gamer!!
