The Most Disappointing Xbox 360 Games of 2011

"Every year, a handful of titles are released that just don’t meet the standards of the players. This isn’t about the licensed super-hero games based on the movies, like Captain America or Green Lantern. While these licensed titles are stinkers, the gaming community expects them to be. When it comes to the most disappointing games of 2011, hyped up games with potential need to be taken into account. I thought only the PC version of Dead Island had issues, did the console version have the same issues?

I knew there was something off the minute I started playing Crazy Taxi.

I enjoyed Cartel because of character Benjamin McCall. He is f*cking badass. They gave him a awesome voice and really great one liners. Other two sucks, but he, he is the boss.

"And I saw a pale horse and he who sit upon it and his name is death and he has a bullet with your fucking name on it!" With that voice McCall had, it never gets old : D

I don't get what's so wrong with Dead Island. Yes, I do agree it needed a bit more polish, but I've been playing like 150+ hours and never encountered anything that could break the entire experience.

The only big disappointment I had with it was the presence of some absurd plot holes and the lack of effort regarding the few cutscenes of the game, but even Gears of War 3 had the same issues.
Otherwise, it's certainly not the best game ever developed, but it's still a bunch of fun for gamers.

Funny that the title is "5 Xbox games" but none of those were 360 exclusives right? Wierd.. Well at the very least, out of the 3 or so MS exclusives that did come out in 2011 at least they were all far from dissapointing. (Gears 3 , Forza 4, Halo Reach)

If we're talking dissapointing multiplats I must say again.. Homefront.

In terms of disappointing ps3 games in 2011, only one I played that I thought was garbage was SOCOM 4.. and at the very least that game was somewhat tolerable, just not the old tactical SOCOM I remember from the good ol' Ps2 days.
