Very very nice. Can't wait to pick up a Vita, I was so close to importing it yesterday from playasia lol.

just_sayin4531d ago (Edited 4531d ago )

$525 is just way to much for a handheld. When you can wait 2 months an get a vita, memory stick, and 2/3 games for that price.

TrendyGamers4531d ago

Yeah, good decision on waiting. It's just too much money to import it.

TrendyGamers4531d ago

Yeah, we don't as get many good sales but this is definitely one worth checking out.

NellyNel_7_1_34531d ago

I know right... Dont worry the NA will have their own special deals coming soon for us soon to be ps vita owners...

EF-ing HATE best buy, don't ever buy anything there, their rewardzone thing is a SCAM they will do EVERYthing not to give you your certificates, and their customer service is TRASH (because they train them to be that way). gamestop also sucks, and amazon isn't great either, but at least their service is better if you need it and you don't have to talk to any morons that have no interested in helping you and just want to waste your time.

wicko4531d ago

Not sure what you are talking about regarding rewardzone.. I've already gotten about $440 worth in certificates and I had no difficulties getting/using any of them.

archemides5184531d ago (Edited 4531d ago )

then be glad you're lucky then, i've had issues getting points on EVERY one of the "buy 5 get $100" promotions, and just now after i tried to redeem the points (after waiting the standard 30 day) it gave me an error and DELETED the points i tried to redeem. so i have to contact support AGAIN, which doesn't take "72 hrs" like it says, it takes 2 weeks, and i am a premium member. and even THEN be lucky if they even READ your email right because half the idiots who work there don't even acknowledge the problem and give you a canned response (for example "you have to wait 35 days for the points to go through" AFTER YOU"VE WAITED AND THEY"VE OBVIOUSLY GONE THROUGH), and then you have to wait 2 MORE WEEKS to get what you were supposed to get automatically and as advertised since you have to correct them because of how stupid they are. i'm not so sure they're so stupid as much as wanting to waste my time. if you want think everything works perfectly for everyone just go to their forums and see how TONS of people are having problems CONSISTENTLY. i am so done with best buy.

Top Ten Under-appreciated Kart Racers

Phil writes, "The kart racer: a sub-genre in the racing game genre that generally features video game mascots and colorful cartoon characters competing in speedy races against one another for the sole goal of crossing the finish line in first place. No doubt Super Mario Kart made this sub-genre popular and put it on the map, but for every well-done Mario-branded racer, there are countless others that fall through the cracks. For this purpose SPC brings back The Tuesday 10s to list ten underrated and under-appreciated kart racers from a wide swath of developers and franchises."

I agree with ModNation Racers. I did have a good time with what I did get to play at a friends some time ago. Nickelodeon Racers though? If it’s anything like the original, that’s a hard pass…

Teflon021092d ago

Don't agree with Mario Kart tour as it's not underappreciated. It's just literally not great. Everyone has tried it.

On the other hand ModNation, Mikey's Speedway USA, CTR, and LBPK I agree with. Though CTR with the rereleases recently hasn't been all that underappreciated and that with Diddy Kong Racing are my all time favourite ones. I think sonic transformed is very under appreciated though.

Outside of CTR ModNation is the most underappreciated because the game was amazing and don't think it even sold a million. But the community was always pretty cool. Creating was never hard. But it could be as complex as you wanted it to be so it was for everyone. I'm still praying Sony makes a ModNation Racers sequel for PS5 as the only issue the game had imo was load times and not being 60fps

I hope they do as well, I had the game on ps3 but never spend a good amount of time with it which I kind of regret, would love to give it another go.

Chocobo Racing can't get no love

MadLad1092d ago

There's a little known kart game called Bears Can't Drift that had a bunch of potential, was fun to play, but low sales that left the dev to simply abandon the project before fixing technical issues with the game.

They really did have a good game on their hands, but they gave up before it could reach full potential.

I remember just only playing the demo of a game called speed punks that game was fun

Vita's 10 Best Online Games

VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "Competing with other players online is ingrained into the gaming ecosystem these days, with every hardware manufacturer (even the previously resistant Nintendo) offering ways to connect to others over the internet to engage in multiplayer. Ever since SEGA blazed a trail with their gone-too-soon Dreamcast and titles such as Chu Chu Rocket and Phantasy Star Online, the console landscape changed towards embracing the internet – solidified further by Microsoft’s Xbox initiative in 2001.

On handhelds, inroads into online gaming were slower, but with the advent of Sony’s PSP in 2005 that changed again and suddenly portable experiences were offered that could also connect with other players across the world. This was refined further with their next-generation handheld the PlayStation Vita, which offered improvements like easily accessible friends lists, system-based party chat, alongside some of the best portable online games that were available at the time of its release."

Killzone Mercenary has spectacular gameplay and great mp. Underrated game.

Helldivers was pretty awesome to have on Vita.

NFS MW worked well on Vita.

NecrumOddBoy1843d ago

Killzone Mercenary is not only a phenomenal KZ, it has the best integrated system shared between the campaign and the online community. I wish more shooters were this incredible.
