Dualshock Nexus: A recent interview with Matt Maclean, the lead designer for South Park RPG; stated a lot of new information about the game. One part of the interview that caught my attention is that the developers plan on filling the world with bosses with higher power levels that you encounter early in the game. One of the bosses concept art shown in the interview is some Gorrila-Dragon-Demon thing, but I hope the developers go one step further and add actual characters from the show as extreme bosses. Here are our top ten picks for bosses we would like to see in the game.
'Playing It Old School' looks back at the intriguing relationship 'South Park' has had with the video game culture since its early days. This is an examination of the bond from the early games of the 90's to the Emmy award winning episodes "Best Friends Forever" and "Make Love, Not Warcraft".
South Park has had a rich history with gaming culture and this column looks back at that history. I do apologize for omitting some episodes but I did try to cover the key ones.
Techtorial: Newegg is offering $10 gift card for pre-orders of selected games, including PS4 titles with 2014 launch dates.
DHGF: Of the “Big Three” press conferences, Nintendo is the only one left to take the stage. Based solely on what has been shown thus far, Microsoft was by far the weakest. Much of what was shown was already leaked in some form or fashion prior to the show, and the rest did little to inspire excitement. Here is what I gathered from the Microsoft media briefing:
I want Scuzzlebutt.
I would add Tooth Decay and take away Darth Chef
manbearpig LOL
but they better be super serial about this game
Haha, well if what they say is correct and Trey and Matt are deeply involved in the game, then I bet we will have a pretty serial game. :D
Most of those are confirmed already by the GameInformer cover and some other interviews. The GI cover shows ManBearPig, Jesus, Woodland Critters, Satan, The Crab People, UnderPants Gnomes, Mr. Hankey, and Santa Clause.
The Guinea Pigs are already confirmed as not being in by the GameInformer article because they are sticking with the traditional South Park look and not any of the alternate animation styles used over the years. Logically, that means no Mecha-Streisand either.
