Pocket Gamer - The Bard’s Tale Review

Pocket Gamer - No genre takes itself as seriously as the fantasy-RPG. Games like The Elder Scrolls, Baldur’s Gate, and Ultima offer up grand tales of dragons, goblins, and helpless maidens, all delivered in a completely straight-faced fashion which is entirely oblivious to the absurdity of the subject matter.

Taking this into account, it’s refreshing to play a title like The Bard’s Tale. A portable conversion of the 2004 PS2 and Xbox game (which in turn was an spiritual update of a dusty old computer RPG), this knockabout romp gleefully pokes fun at the fantasy gaming subset, taking every available opportunity to mercilessly stick the boot in - with predictably amusing results.

The Bard's Tale is coming to Amazon Alexa, in the form of a new audio role-playing game titled Warlocks of Largefearn - It's a project developed in conjunction with Xbox's inXile Entertainment, and created by Wanderword - a Swedish developer which previously released other Alexa-based RPGs.

That's a pretty impressive bundle! Humble bundle has the best deals in gaming, imo.

It's a great bundle made of some of the best indies games.
Big shout to Layers of Fear, Talos, Grim Fandango, Killing floor 2 and Shadow Warrior 2 (I have yet to try the rest but Broken Age is in my backlog).
