This week's top rental charts from U.S. game rental company GameFly, representing the most requested games for the week ending December 3rd, highlight both to-be-released and already released games in a unique demand-specific chart.
This week's top five all-platform requests show little movement once again, after last week saw the list barely ruffled. Assassin's Creed still takes the top spot for a third week with Mass Effect in second for its second week in a row.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, which spent the last two weeks at number four, slips a bit to the fourth spot to make room for Kane and Lynch: Dead Men to move up one spot into the fourth spot, but that's the only movement -- Uncharted: Drake's Fortune stays at number five, where it entered last week.
MW 2019 is five years old at this point and on previous gen hardware, but it is still the best looking Call of Duty game to date.
MW was an excellent videogame. They messed up Spec Ops big time, but aside from this it was a huge step in the right direction initially. Most notably, at launch it seemed to come from a very cohesive creative vision that was felt across gameplay, to story to art style/visual direction. It was also very notably written by prominent ex-Naughty Dog guys that quit almost immediately before release.
That COMPLETELY dissolved through post-launch content and the full pivot to a "cross-mode" narrative that completely obliterated the cohesion in overall story direction. Warzone then "became" the new face of Call of Duty and the franchise completely removed itself from anything remotely creatively "good". It is a pure money machine, so I kinda get why they're doing it....but I personally completely lost interest.
I would love to see Infinity Ward move off CoD and get to make their own product with full control. They clearly have some massive talent in their ranks but it's perverted by Activision's corporate interests.

My top 3 are Mario 3, Mario World and Mario 64. Mario Odyssey is also excellent, and I enjoyed Sunshine but didn't care for the Galaxy series.

That sure is a shame, cause Assassins Creed is terrible. Yet, it's only good for a rental, so can I complain? Mass Effect, given the issues with it, is a good game still and i'd opt to buy it from my hands on time with it. It's agood game, just not perfect. Assassins Creed is terrible. I mean, terrible...

i wasnt so sure about mass effect when i bought it because of the sketchy reviews but after playing the game, its actually pretty good despite the tech glitches in the game. theres alot to do and the combat is decent, but the story and dialog [which was the main highlight of the game] is the best ive seen to date. graphics are alright, some environments impress [especially the beginning in the citadel] some look like sh*t run over twice.
assassins creed? i can honestly say i havent encountered any of the glitches until after i completed the game, my first playthrough didnt have all those glitches people talked about. i saw a glitch only in the horseback riding areas [the kingdom] and only if u do stupid things like tryin to run up a mountain with a horse, then the game gets all glitchy. i think you will only get glitches in the game if you go out and look for glitches, but if youre just playing the game then there shouldnt be any serious issues.
wow assassins creed is still at the top ... thats a pretty good run for it
