XMNR: One of the first concerns with any multiplayer focused game on the PC is cheating and Hi-Rez Studios is already taking steps to ban players in its upcoming free-to-play title, Tribes Ascend.
Online games have become the pastime of choice for everyone, no matter their age. And here's a list of the best free online games for 2017.
Back in March of 2013, Hi-Rez broke the news to its Tribes: Ascend fans that they would need to take several months away from the game in order to focus all its efforts on SMITE. Several months became more than two years, and fans were beginning to believe that Hi-Rez would simply never return to Tribes.
But the recent 1.1 update -- a.k.a. the Out of the Blue Update -- has proven those naysayers wrong.
If you thought Hi-Rez Studios were done with Tribes Ascend, think again. Today they are launching a major update to the free to play shooter that fans of the original games might just approve of.
"will be state of the art and "on par" with other shooters."
The hackers will just make stronger cheat/hack programs no matter how many times you update your security. Perfect example go look at Combat Arms. Game updates hacks stop working a day to a week, later on hacks work again.
If big name companies would put as much money they put to DRMs,SecuROMs and etc to online gaming security, then gaming hacking probably wouldn't as strong as it is today.
Personally I think some companies don't even care about hackers long as they getting $$$. At least Hi-Rez isn't one of those companies.
What's so fun about cheating? How do you get any enjoyment out of beating people when you're not even the one doing it?
