man, I will have to "wait" on Mass Effect 3 to get Xenoblade first for the Wii. I want Nintendo to bring Last Story as well. If you have the money for extra games, then please pick up Xenoblade. This is a game a lot of people have been fighting for to get Nintendo to localize and finally is making its way over here exclusively for Gamestop and Nintendo.com. It's going to be very limited.

I'm a big ME fan (I own 1 & 2 for 360) I dont think i'll be buying ME3 on March 6th or at all for that matter. This is the only game next year I literally cant wait to read reviews for. I really want to see how it turns out. So far (to me) it looks like a space version of "The Club". As of right now, I'm NOT impressed.

If your such a big fan of ME 1 and 2, why would ME3 be so different? Especially if you really liked 2, and considering that they're pretty much finished the game at this point and only need to fine-tune for another 3 months, I don think you need to worry :)

I might be worrying too much, its just looks so much faster and so far I dont like the look of it. Why I mentioned reviews is I'm interested in the exploration aspects and RPG elements and how they turn out. But after ME2 which I didnt like as much as ME1, I dont have much hope for either of those elements.

In fact, ME3 is F-ing Gamestop Midnight pick-up worthy.

I'm blown away that Rockstar is releasing Max Payne 3 on the same day. SILLY..

Rockstar is about to find out what Alan Wake felt like the day it came out against Red Dead Redemption.

well to be fair ME3 will have even more of a EA influence, in it that they are wanting to figure out how to make as much money as possible.

What is interesting is that off the bat 3 different gamers are targeted. You can choose Action Mode, Story Mode, and RPG Mode. To be honest, this shows that Bioware and EA are struggling to find an identity together. EA doesn't want straight up rpg's anymore like we got from KOTOR and feels that they need to interfere in Bioware's mechanics since they think they know best. Let's also not forget EA helped ruin the Dragon Age franchise.

I'm glad that the industry moved away from the holiday season releases mentality. Now, we have great games all year round.

Yeah its great we have some awesome titles so early in the year, but there is likely to be that big mid year gap there always is. At least there will be some back-catalogue to keep us occupied though!

Scheduled to come out that day is Soulcalibur V, NeverDead, FFXIII-2 and Captain Morgane And The Golden Turtle. 4 anticipated games all out on the same day is a major mindbender for me. And then after that in the same month is SSX, Jak & Daxter HD Collection, Twisted Metal, the Vita and its multitude of launch titles.

March is the least of my worries.

Only game I can see myself getting in March are Naruto Ultimate Ninja Generations, Street Fighter x Tekken and Dragons Dogma (if it releases then). It's Late January/February thats gonna rape my wallet.

See the only problem with this is. Coming from managing a game specialty store. And just being very integrated in the gaming industry as a whole, is this far away from that date (i know its only 3 months). Is quite a few of those games are going to be delayed for one reason or another.

If its not Max Payne 3 going by Rockstars track record of delaying games VERY ofte. Then it will probably be Ghost Recon in fear of Mass Effect 3 or Max Payne 3. Not to mention MLB the Show.

Something will get pushed back or hell, maybe even pushed up. You never know... ive seen it happen before.

Mass effect 3 is the only game that matters on this list. Besides the 80 bucks I'll be spending for the collectors edition of it, my wallet won't be hurting too much on March 6th. I don't care about anything else being released that month.

single player campaign mode for mass effect 3 only for me. i am not at all interested in a tacked on multi-player just to boost sales to casual shooter gamer audience.
uncharted another series proved that online mp was not really needed. i enjoyed all three uncharted and never touched the mp component.

mass effect likewise no interest in an online death match or a possible mmorpg.

same game experience at half the price.
buy it second hand and return it within the 14 day period.

mass effect 3 on normal mode should be a piece of cake and unlock most achievements.
