Mat Growcott writes: "I was fairly surprised when I was offered the code for Venus Hostage. It’s not a game that I’d heard of before, and the official website shows more than one image of a half-naked woman. In actual fact, it took me several minutes to realise the game is a first-person shooter of sorts, although I think it’s fair to say this one is definitely for the adults. Between the fighting sections and “naughty bits” - what there are of them - Venus Hostage is a puzzle game of sorts, forcing you to work out how to escape from your captors, save the girl and, preferably, avoid going near that very phallic-looking chainsaw toy."
