I had 2 of the volumes, then got stopped by the guards and didn't notice them take one since it was "stolen"... Was so sad after I found that out a few hours later...

Great article, funny and well written. We need more pieces like this at the top of N4G and not that "which has better graphix PS3 or 360" sh*t

After a long, hard day of questing I usually come back to my home in Whiterun, take off all of my armor and sit in the chair in the living room in front of the open hearth fire. Then I ask Lydia to stir the food. That's when I turn to my real wife and say "See, this is the life", after which I promptly get something thrown at me, maybe, deservedly so...

LettingGo4556d ago

Lydia? That common whore?!?

Pintheshadows4556d ago

I'm married to Aela the Huntress.

SuperNerd4556d ago

HardCover4555d ago

Lydia dedicates her life to you, man. Show some respect.

Braith is the whore of Whiterun.... (reference is the last line)

@csreynolds hahaha...Skyrim nude patch ftw!!!

kma2k4556d ago

im guilty of 40% of these lol

Darth Gamer4556d ago (Edited 4556d ago )

Me too, and all at the same time. lol DAMN Actually after rereading the article, I'm guilty of 70%

OcelotRigz4556d ago

Im guilty of all of these, yes even the nude one.

So so true, its nice when you see that other gamers have those little in-game habits that you thought you only had. Like, i sneak ALL the time.

I would add the saving-the-game before any situation you're not sure of i.e. when you approach a camp and you're not sure weather that guy walking around is a good guy or bad, so before you see how he reacts to an arrow to the face, save the game. I do this way too much, it feels like im cheating.

I'm Replaying Skyrim (again), and So Should You

Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.

anast46d ago

I tried, but it's a poorly made game that insults its customers.

lucian22946d ago

nah, only mods make it decent, and even then it's bad, and this is after i modded for at least 3 years

Nittdarko46d ago

Funnily enough, I'm about to play it for the first time in VR with 1000 mods to make the game playable, as is the Bethesda way

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave46d ago (Edited 46d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
