Based on the film of the same name (which hits cinemas around Australia on December 26), Aliens vs Predator: Requiem is a PSP exclusive action title being developed by the UK's Rebellion. The team has a fair bit of experience with this license, having developed the well-received Aliens vs Predator for PC (and other platforms) back in 1999, and has also helmed a number of PSP titles (including the recently released Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron). How is the game shaping up? IGN AU got in touch with Tim Jones, the Head Designer at Rebellion to find out.
IGN AU: Does the PSP have any unique strengths that are particularly well suited to this title?
Tim Jones: No other mobile platform has the power to deliver the kind of detailed graphics and sound to effectively convey the full Aliens versus Predator experience on the move!

''With Aliens: Colonial Marines being a utter disappointment, a lot of people are looking for something to fill the void. Something to fill that intense atmosphere steeped in tension. People are wanting to feel vulnerable and easily killed. Others wish to play as the ones doing the killing. These are a few alternatives to Aliens: Colonial Marines that will certainly fill the void.''
Death is never nice at the best of time but aliens have really perfected the art of long painful and often repulsive ends. Join us as we look at some of the worst ways to go off world.
News: The CEO and creative director of Sniper Elite V2 developer Rebellion will receive an OBE for “services to the Economy”.
His smiling face makes me want to punch it. For shipping unfinished, bland, and shallow games he should get the absolute opposite of an award.
