GamerFitNation writes: "Natsume Inc., a worldwide developer and publisher of family-oriented video games, announced today that the company's full videogame lineup for 2011 is now available at retail and at Natsume's Online Store. And, to celebrate the season of giving, Natsume is hosting a Harvest Moon Drawing Contest for its newest release, Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns for 3DS.
Given that it is a spin-off of Harvest Moon, it isn’t surprising that romance is a part of Rune Factory. But what may catch someone off guard is how much the games offer. These titles offer lots of people they can spend time with, some of them showing how many different kinds of species live in this fantasy world. They are people who are capable at performing certain jobs and surviving against monsters. Their storylines also can be quite engaging and fun. Essentially, they can go above and beyond.
Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns, which originally released on Nintendo DS in 2010, is making a comeback on Nintendo 3DS.
Harvest Moon meets Monster Hunter in this farming-RPG that tells a romantic tale.
For JRPG fans this is a sleeper hit. I found it very interesting and better then I expected.
It's also a very easy to get a PLATINUM trophy if you invest a little effort into it.
Agree with Sarick, the game is fantastic, and all the games in this series are incredible. Check out the ones on the DS and Wii as well, and Rune Factory 4 will be out on the 3DS in the next couple months. Do yourself a favor if a fan of JRPGs, play this series!
Funny, I've been playing JRPGs for nearly two decades, and I found Tides of Destiny to be one of the absolute worst ones. Just atrocious.
It was offensively bad.
I've played jrpgs for a while and while I've never played the other rune factory games, tides of destiny suck.
Its not the worst one as Xof claims.
