TouchArcade: We spied Oh! Edo Towns [$3.99/Lite] on the App store in early September, and ever since, I've been wringing my hands in anticipation at the thought of a new Kairosoft game to fill up my free time. After all, Game Dev Story earned our coveted five-star score, and we've enjoyed the clever and cute take on the pleasures of city sims every since. Throw in my slight obsession with historical Japan, and then tell me I get to build my own town in Edo-period Japan, and here you have a very excited gamer. Can I be a shogun? Paint some ukiyo-e? Maybe even thwart Saigo Takamori before he reaches the borders of my humble town?
John Bedford (Modojo): The best of the price-drops on the App Store today, including a Kairosoft bargain bonanza!
NowGamer - Don't let the fact that the title doesn't end in the word 'Story' fool you - Kairosoft may have decided to ditch its common suffix for whatever reason for this, yet another odd direction in which to push its familiar blend of hour-devouring resource
November has been and gone. Pocket Gamer has seen anti-capitalism marches on Wall Street and pro-capitalism orgies on Black Friday. PG has also seen America launch a spaceship to Mars, while Russian's red-planet probe failed to leave orbit.
