I always get confused by this, but is 72k good sales numbers for a game? I keep seeing games fail at selling 2.5 million and that they need to be on multiple platforms but is an additional 72k adding much?

I think overall Skyrim is aimed at a slightly more mature audience than COD and the vast majority of pc players fall into that bracket, really glad the games getting awesome sales as well as reviews :)
Not surprising. Mw3 is not optimized for PC, elder scrolls is. What i really want see are the console stats.
That is pretty amazing. Didn't think the game would topple MW3. But will it sell more though?
