Coffin874574d ago

Yep. Anyone who doesn't know "tgm", "tcl" and "qqq" should seriously f*in play some Bethesda games.

Iroquois_Pliskin4574d ago

¨movetoqt¨ ¨tgm¨ ¨player.additem¨ ¨kill¨
ruined my life.

Biggest4574d ago

Just out of curiosity. . . Why is this listed under PS3 and 360? Neither version has a console function, right?

NEW-AGE4574d ago

But ps3 and 360 are consoles

Coffin874573d ago

Wut I got 7 disagrees?
lol, well I'll stand by it. ^^

bobrea4566d ago

Yea, because anyone who doesn't know or use the cheat codes clearly has never played a Bethesda game!

All I want is money and now I am a millionaire.... in Skyrim that is.

Miacosa4574d ago (Edited 4574d ago )

Seems like this would ruin the game on the first go around, maybe after completing the game these can be really fun or on alternate gamesaves.

CynicalVision4574d ago

Of course it'll ruin the game, you would be cheating.

damnyouretall4574d ago (Edited 4574d ago )

cheating can be balanced sometimes if you bump up the difficulty. i like it like that from time to time. not the first play through though

nepdyse4574d ago

Since I suck at RPG, I now have a good reason to pick this game up.

Getowned4574d ago (Edited 4574d ago )

Cheats are fun but I don't think I would use God mode until I beat it or get stuck :P

nepdyse4574d ago

Its just that I am sincerely terrible at any game that isn't a shooter, I need all the help I can get.

Megaton4574d ago

I've been using the console command cheats in my latest Fallout 3 run. The most useful is probably "player.srm". Lets you repair your weapons with caps according to your own repair skill, so you're just paying yourself to max out your weapons if you have 100 repair. Dunno if that'll translate to Skyrim.

Myze4574d ago

There is no weapon/armor durability in Skyrim (thankfully).

the screen grab looks like a skinny penis pointing at the television..

I'm Replaying Skyrim (again), and So Should You

Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.

anast46d ago

I tried, but it's a poorly made game that insults its customers.

lucian22946d ago

nah, only mods make it decent, and even then it's bad, and this is after i modded for at least 3 years

Nittdarko46d ago

Funnily enough, I'm about to play it for the first time in VR with 1000 mods to make the game playable, as is the Bethesda way

The 7 Best Western RPGs: Immersive Adventures

RPGs are often huge, sprawling endeavours. With limited playtime, we have to choose wisely, so here's the best western RPGs available today.

SimpleSlave46d ago

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave46d ago (Edited 46d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
