Whether you fancy a tropical island adventure travelling through savage lands filled with spiders or a crazier and somewhat furrier adventure, the explorers amongst us are in for a treat this week. The Virtual Console game, Adventure Island, is coming to Nintendo 3DS and the fantasy videogame Furry Legends to Nintendo DSiWare.

I used to wake up watch Saturday morning cartoons and as soon as Looney Toons was over turn this game on until my parents woke up... Ohhhh to be 5 again.

A.J. says: "The mid-80s was an exciting time for gaming whether you preferred playing on a PC, NES, or arcade machine. Last year on New Year's Eve, I counted down the best games of 1995 but this year we're going back even further."
